© Hailey College of Commerce was established on March 04, 1927.

The University of the Punjab is the oldest teaching University in the whole sub-continent. The University of the Punjab was established as the first teaching University on 14th October, 1882. The College continued its academic activities in this premises and was shifted on 23rd September, 1978 to Quaid-i-Azam Campus (New Campus), University of the Punjab. Unfortunately the old premises continued t

o stay unused. Lt. Gen. (R) Arshad Mahmood, Vice-Chancellor of University of the Punjab, got the old premises renovated and rehabilitated to its original pride in the first quarter 2003. On March 26, 2003, Lt. (R) Khalid Maqbool, honourable Chancellor of the University of the Punjab and the Governor Punjab inaugurated the College which was renamed as Hailey College of Banking & Finance.

Today Marking the 3rd Death Anniversary of HCBF's Founder Principal Late Prof. Dr. Khawaja Amjad Saeed (21 March 1936 - 30 January 2014). World's renowned economist and founder of Punjab University's Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and Hailey College of Banking and Finance (HCBF).
He was true lover of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) and a true Pakistani. He always placed badges of Pakistan on his chest, which expressed his love for the country.
He served this prestigious institute
(HCBF) which is very close to his heart till his last breath. (26 March 2003 - 30 January 2014)
His services to this Institute will be remembered forever.
Prayers are for this soul's eternity.
