🚨 Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun 🚨

We're devastated to share the tragic loss of Haseeb Zafar, a 7th-semester BS-IT student at Bahria University Lahore, who died in a horrific hostel room blast due to gas pipeline leakage. The negligence of the hostel management and respective departments has taken a precious life, leaving a family and friends in grief.

Haseeb and his roommates had repeatedly reported the leakage, but their cries for help were ignored. When the blast occurred, he was left to suffer, shouting for help, while the management failed to act. The subsequent handling of his body, including the delay in handing it over to his family, has added insult to injury.

We demand a thorough, fair investigation and accountability for those responsible. The hostel management must be held accountable for their negligence. 💔

Leaders Forum UMT stands in solidarity with Haseeb's family and friends, committed to providing every possible support in this dark time. We seek justice for Haseeb and pray for his soul to rest in peace. 🙏
