ICET Jamiat 100 Years of Excellence. initially a two year course, leading to the B.Sc. degree in Technical Chemistry by the Punjab University was started in 1917 at the F.C.

Official student platform of ICET | Promoting academic excellence, student welfare, leadership, and character building through educational and welfare initiatives. College Lahore which was replaced by a three-year B.Sc. (Hon.) in 1925. In 1946, it was shifted to the Old Campus, Punjab University and raised to the status of an Institute in 1948. Initially two year course, leading to the B.Sc.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗶 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁, former Distinguished Professor at the 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 (𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗧), 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗷𝗮𝗯.

He was a respected academic and a pioneer in the development of the Chemical Engineering Department, dedicated to teaching and mentoring generations of engineers.

His academic contributions and services to the institution will be long remembered. He was widely admired for his kindness, humility, and integrity. His passing is a profound loss to ICET, the University of the Punjab, and the wider Chemical Engineering community.

May Allah Almighty forgive him, grant him 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝘁-𝘂𝗹-𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗱𝗼𝘂𝘀, and give strength and patience to his family, colleagues, and students.
