🤝 KICS-UET Signs Strategic MOU with LIGOO New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., China

The Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science (KICS), UET Lahore, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with LIGOO New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., one of China's leading Battery Management System (BMS) manufacturers, marking a major milestone in technology collaboration and renewable energy innovation.

The partnership will establish LIGOO's Global Technology & Service Centre in Pakistan, develop a joint research and training laboratory at UET Lahore, create internship and talent development opportunities for students, and promote collaborative research on AI-driven Battery Management Systems (BMS) for electric vehicles and energy storage solutions.

The MOU was signed by Michael, representing LIGOO New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Prof. Dr. Shahzad Asif, Director, KICS-UET, in the presence of representatives from both organizations. This collaboration reflects UET Lahore's continued commitment to strengthening industry-academia partnerships, fostering cutting-edge research, and contributing to Pakistan's sustainable energy future.
