Kinnaird College celebrated the spirit of Marka-e-Haq through the event 'From Bunyun-um-Marsoos to Islamabad Talks' hosted by the International Relations Club on May 14, 2026.
The event featured Brigadier (R) Dr. Nayer Fardows, Commodore Ehsan Ahmed Khan SI(M), and Air Commodore Khalid Chishti (R) as keynote speakers. Through their insightful addresses, the speakers highlighted Pakistan’s growing global significance, reflecting upon Pakistan’s Operation Bunyun-um-Marsoos in response to India’s Operation Sindoor during the Pakistan-India conflict of May 2025. The discussion further explored how Pakistan’s strategic, diplomatic, and regional importance became increasingly evident during the Islamabad Talks amid the Iran-US conflict of 2026.
The event also featured a soulful choir performance by the Kinnaird Choir, who paid tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces through heartfelt national songs that filled the hall with patriotic spirit and emotion.
A special segment of the ceremony was led by Principal Prof. Dr. Iram Anjum, who invited the deans, organizing committee members, and supporting staff on stage to form a symbolic “Bunyun-um-Marsoos,” representing the unity and collective strength of every sector of Pakistan standing together for the nation. This powerful moment was met with great appreciation and enthusiasm from the audience.
The ceremony concluded with a cake-cutting celebration, marking the occasion with unity, patriotism, and high spirits among the distinguished guests and attendees alike.
The Kinnaird IR Club extends its sincere gratitude to the keynote speakers, organizers, faculty, and students whose collective efforts made the event both memorable and impactful.
