'Earth, Water, Moringa'
The 2nd leg of the travelling exhibition of Japanese woodcut prints curated by Saki Kirizuki and Nilofur Akmat is going to exhibit at the Saga University of Arts, Kyoto, Japan. The 1st show was exhibited at the National College of Arts, Lahore, Pakistan in March 2026.
All works in this show are done at the CowasJee Print Studio, NCA.

Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) presents a Linocut Printmaking Workshop in collaboration with visual artist and creative facilitator Tayyaba Qureshi ()! โœจ

Explore the art of relief printmaking in this hands-on linocut printmaking workshop where youโ€™ll learn how to carve, ink, and hand-print your own designs using traditional linoleum block printing techniques. Experience the full creative process of transforming ideas into bold, textured, handmade prints while learning the fundamentals of composition, texture, and layering.

Through guided practice, youโ€™ll experiment with professional printmaking tools and techniques to create your own unique set of hand-pulled prints in this immersive art workshop in Islamabad.

Participants will take home their finished prints along with their carved linoleum blocks, allowing them to continue their printmaking practice beyond the workshop! ๐Ÿ’ซ

Tayyaba Qureshi () is a visual artist and creative facilitator with a Bachelorโ€™s in Fine Arts. Her practice explores texture, process, and visual storytelling through drawing, mixed media, and experimental making. She creates accessible, process-led spaces for experimentation and personal expression.
