The vision of Department of Chemical Engineering (COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus) is to achieve national recognition through the educational and research achievements and nurture innovation, critical thinking, and leadership in chemical engineering graduates. Mission of the Chemical Engineering Department:

To provide chemical engineering

students with a strong technical education and communication skills that will enable them to have successful careers in a wide range of industrial and professional environments. To prepare chemical engineering students for rapidly changing technological environments with the core knowledge central to multidisciplinary development and personal improvement throughout their professional careers. To instill in chemical engineering students a strong sense of humanistic values and professionalism such that they can conduct ethically and knowledgeably regarding technological impact in societal issues.

🎓 Celebrating the Success of Our Alumni!

The Department of Chemical Engineering is proud to share the remarkable achievement of our alumnus, Mr. Mohammad Yasser Ramzan, who has been appointed as Managing Director, MySep Middle East LLC, leading the company’s Middle East operations from its newly established regional office in Doha, Qatar.

With extensive experience in process engineering and the regional energy sector, Yasser will lead MySep’s regional operations and engagement with oil & gas, LNG operators, EPC contractors, and engineering organizations across the Middle East.

MySep specializes in advanced phase-separation design, simulation, and performance assessment for the oil & gas and LNG industry, supporting process optimization, separator performance, debottlenecking, and reliable plant operations.

This achievement is a testament to the professional excellence of our alumni and their growing impact in the global chemical engineering and energy sectors.

👏 Heartiest congratulations to Mr. Mohammad Yasser Ramzan on this well-deserved achievement!
