We are pleased to announce that the Biological Society, GC University Lahore, successfully conducted the Seminar and Free Skin Check-Up at the Women Development Center, GC University Lahore, on 16 February 2026. The event was attended by a large number of students who benefited from expert consultations in Reconstructive, Cosmetic, and Aesthetic Transformation. The program included a comprehensive and informative seminar session, personalized professional skin consultations, and a well-structured interactive question-and-answer segment. We extend our sincere appreciation to our respected advisors, Dr. Umer Farooq Awam and Dr. Rana Manzoor Ahmad, for their invaluable guidance and continued support in making this academic initiative a success.

The Biological Society of GCU Lahore organized a one-day study tour to Jallo Park on 31 January 2026 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to nature and promote environmental awareness. An awareness walk on Women Empowerment was also conducted to highlight the importance of gender equality.
Students explored the park, observed wildlife, and participated in recreational activities including cricket. Transportation, refreshments, and photography were arranged for participants. The event was supervised by Dr. Umer Farooq Awan, Dr. Rana Manzoor Ahmad, and led by President Muhammad Ghos Sabir.
The tour was educational, enjoyable, and memorable for all students

The Biological Society, Government College University Lahore, successfully organized a webinar on “Importance of Reservoir Hosts in the Ecology of Arthropods and Arthropod-borne Parasites” on 17th October 2025 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. via Zoom. The guest speaker, Dr. Muhammad Imran Rashid (Ph.D., France), specialized in Parasitic Immunology and Vaccinology, delivered an insightful talk on the ecological significance of reservoir hosts, the transmission dynamics of arthropod-borne parasites, and the challenges in disease control. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, reflecting participants’ deep interest in parasitology and ecological studies. The event was supervised by Dr. Umer Farooq Awan and Dr. Rana Manzoor Ahmad, and coordinated by Muhammad Ghos Sabir, President of The Biological Society. 🌿
