We are pleased to announce the release of the September 2026 edition of Bulletin of Legal Scholarship (BLS).

This edition brings together a collection of scholarly articles, case commentaries and a book review, reflecting our continued commitment to developing a culture of legal research, critical thinking and academic scholarship at BLS.

BLS was delighted to host a Lawyer Forgather for our new LLB students, giving them an opportunity to meet our faculty and interact with distinguished members of the legal and judicial fraternity.

We were honoured by the presence of Justice (R) Shahid Jamil, Dr Khalid Ranjha, and other distinguished former District & Sessions Judges, who shared their valuable experience and words of encouragement with our students.

The occasion also marked the release of the September 2026 edition of our law Journal - Bulletin of Legal Education (BLS).

A warm welcome to all our new students, and sincere thanks to our distinguished guests for making the occasion truly memorable.

BLS has launched its LLB Taster Lecture Series for new LLB students, giving them an early introduction to the subjects, style and experience of studying law.

The series began on 28 September with an introductory lecture on Law of Tort and Contract, delivered by Ehsan Chughtai, CEO of BLS.

On 29 September, Dr. Javaria followed with an engaging session on Environmental Law.

A good number of new LLB entrants attended both sessions, taking their first steps into the world of legal education and getting a taste of what their LLB journey has in store.

The Taster Lectures KYC (Know Your Course) sessions are still ongoing. More insightful sessions with our faculty are coming up.

Before you formally begin your LLB, join our LLB Taster Lecture Series at BLS.

We are delighted to welcome Mr. Sohaib Ahmad Rumi, DSJ (Rtd.), as Visiting Faculty at BLS.

A distinguished former judicial officer, Mr. Rumi has served as Additional Secretary Legislation, Additional Secretary Parliamentary Affairs, and Special Judge, Anti-Corruption, Punjab, Lahore. He is also recognised as one of the founders of the Punjab Prosecution Department and Prosecution Service, and contributed to the drafting of the Punjab Prosecution Act.

He currently serves as Advisor to the Chairman, NAB.

We look forward to our students benefiting from his exceptional experience and institutional insight.
