IEEE UOL Student Branch is going to organize a seminar on "Future of Artificial Intelligence" in collaboration with the Department of Electrical Engineering UoL & Department of Computer Science, UOL and Office of the Clubs and Societies, UOL on December 11, 2023 at 11 am. The future of AI is constantly evolving and changing, with new innovations and developments emerging every year. AI is predicted to grow increasingly pervasive as technology develops, revolutionizing sectors including healthcare, banking, and transportation. The study of neural networks dominated the history of artificial intelligence from the 1950s to the 1970s, while machine learning applications began to emerge in the next three decades, from the 1980s to the 2010s. Machine learning has given birth to the more nuanced idea of Deep Learning due to constant study, increased interest, and broad application. AI is changing nearly every industry and will impact society in ways we are just beginning to understand. It is already the main driver of emerging technologies like big data, robotics, and IoT, and it will continue to act as a technological innovator for the foreseeable future. The next five years of AI development will likely lead to major societal changes that go well beyond what we've seen to date. AI will impact industries such as education, transportation, healthcare, and more. Generative AI is both accelerating automation and extending it to an entirely new set of occupations, which will impact the future of work in Pakistan. The future of artificial intelligence appears bright with continued advancements in technology and investment in AI.
The details of the program will be shared soon.
