LAHORE: A meeting of the Faculty Board of Arts and Humanities, University of the Punjab, was held with the participation of Heads of Departments, Professors, and other members representing 19 departments of the Faculty.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mahboob Hussain, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of the Punjab.
During the meeting, the members held detailed deliberations on various academic matters and programmes related to the Faculty. The participants thoroughly discussed academic proposals, curricular matters, and other agenda items aimed at further strengthening the quality and effectiveness of academic programmes.
Several agenda items were presented before the Board for consideration and, after detailed discussion, were approved by the Faculty Board. The members also shared their valuable suggestions and recommendations regarding the improvement and development of academic programmes within the Faculty.
The Dean, Prof. Dr. Mahboob Hussain, appreciated the active participation of the Heads of Departments and other members and emphasized the importance of maintaining high academic standards, promoting quality teaching and research, and ensuring effective academic governance within the Faculty.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to further enhance academic excellence and strengthen the Faculty of Arts and Humanities as a leading centre of teaching, research, and scholarly activities.
