ORIC, Qarshi University has taken an initiative to start a continuing professional development (CPD) seminar series. The first seminar titled "Approaches to impactful teaching and research" was held on Friday June 17, 2022 at QU Auditorium. Dr. Sania Zahra Malik, Professor, IBA, University of the Punjab was the resource person for the seminar who conducted an insightful session with the faculty and staff members regarding how to engage in impactful teaching & research in today's world. Prof. Dr. Faisal Mustafa, Vice Chancellor Qarshi University also shared his views about the uplift of teaching and research at QU and emphasized the importance of quality teaching & research.

Inam Ullah, currently enrolled in undergraduate program of Department of Biotechnology at Qarshi University Lahore has recently participated in Pak100 BootCamp Cohort III, an entrepreneurial Bootcamp organized by Ideagist-Aspire Pakistan in collaboration with Pak Austria Fachhochschule at PAF-IAST, Haripur. A total of 11 startup teams participated in this bootcamp. Pakistan 100 is one of the key initiatives by ASPIRE Pakistan where they are providing free entrepreneurship training, mentoring, advising, and initial funding to young entrepreneurs.
During five day bootcamp Inam Ullah has developed the understanding of the fundamentals of entrepreneurship including opportunity identification, gap analysis, idea generation, risk assessment, performance assessment, strategic market entry and team building. We wish him best of luck for his entrepreneurial journey ahead.
