Saud Saadat, known for his calm amidst chaos and his smile even in disaster. A leader who brought people together, turning effort into excellence. His dedication behind every successful event pushed the society to new heights, and his warmth made him a favorite among all.

Maha Jawwad, a bubbly presence behind the flashes of her camera. Under her vision, the society gained recognition and a fresh new outlook. With her sharp eye and articulate command in English adjudication, she brought insight and fairness to every stage. Throughout the year, she not only elevated the page but also reminded everyone to find joy, even in the midst of chaos.

I, Maheen Hassan, owe so much to the Literary Society. From nervously giving my interview for the Content Writing Team to now serving as President, it has been a journey that has beautifully spanned five years...strengthening not just my skills, but my bond with this society.

Hi, I am Samiullah Asif — Vice President of the SMDC Literary Society.
I’m usually the one making sure things run smoothly… or at least pretending I’m not stressed while making them run smoothly.
From planning events to fixing last-minute “urgent” problems that magically appear 10 minutes before starting — I’m somewhere in the middle of it all, keeping things together.
Events? Planned properly (most of the time).
Debates? Structured, sharp, and slightly competitive.
Writing? Clean, precise, and overthought just enough to be good.
Calm on the outside, mildly chaotic on the inside — but somehow it all gets done.

I’m Muhammad Usama Zaffar, proudly serving as the Vice President of the SMDC Literary Society. It is truly an honor to be part of a platform that nurtures creativity, expression, and the power of words.
My passion for literature lies deeply in poetry—particularly in Urdu and Saraiki—where emotions find their purest voice and culture speaks through verses. I believe literature is not just an art form, but a bridge that connects hearts, ideas, and perspectives.
