Hi, I am Samiullah Asif — Vice President of the SMDC Literary Society.
I’m usually the one making sure things run smoothly… or at least pretending I’m not stressed while making them run smoothly.
From planning events to fixing last-minute “urgent” problems that magically appear 10 minutes before starting — I’m somewhere in the middle of it all, keeping things together.
Events? Planned properly (most of the time).
Debates? Structured, sharp, and slightly competitive.
Writing? Clean, precise, and overthought just enough to be good.
Calm on the outside, mildly chaotic on the inside — but somehow it all gets done.
I’m Muhammad Usama Zaffar, proudly serving as the Vice President of the SMDC Literary Society. It is truly an honor to be part of a platform that nurtures creativity, expression, and the power of words.
My passion for literature lies deeply in poetry—particularly in Urdu and Saraiki—where emotions find their purest voice and culture speaks through verses. I believe literature is not just an art form, but a bridge that connects hearts, ideas, and perspectives.
As Vice President, I aim to foster an environment that is inclusive, inspiring, and intellectually vibrant—where every individual feels confident to express, create, and grow. Whether it’s through poetry, prose, or dialogue, I hope we can build a community that celebrates both talent and thought.
Hi everyone! I am Javeria Zulfiqar, your Vice President for the term 2026. I feel the Literacy Society is the perfect venue to let your creativity flow. I love to write and can’t seem to escape event planning, so this role feels like the perfect mix of both. I look forward to working with all of you, bringing fresh ideas, and making this term full of creativity, learning, and fun experiences for everyone.
