🌟 AI in Leadership | Pre-Conference Workshop 🌟

A highly interactive Pre-Conference Workshop on “Artificial Intelligence in Leadership” was held at AMDC on 12th September 2026, facilitated by Prof. Dr. Maryam Rashid and Prof. Dr. Atika Masood.

The workshop explored leadership styles and the growing role of AI in healthcare leadership and medical education, with hands-on exposure to tools including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, NotebookLM, Copilot, Gamma, Canva AI, and Perplexity.

Through engaging activities and discussions, participants explored how AI can enhance decision-making, strategic planning, education, research, and teamwork—while reinforcing that empathy, vision, and human connection remain at the heart of great leadership. 🤖🩺✨

Today, Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College successfully conducted an interactive hands-on workshop on “Transforming Assessment: AI & MCQ Construction,” facilitated by Prof. Dr. Maryam Rashid, Professor & Head, Department of Pharmacology.

The session focused on how artificial intelligence can revolutionize assessment design in medical education. Participants explored the practical use of leading AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and NotebookLM, to create high-quality multiple-choice questions (MCQs) aligned with learning objectives.

Beyond MCQ development, the workshop also demonstrated how AI can be used to:
✨ Generate engaging quizzes and assessments
✨ Design interactive learning activities
✨ Improve question quality and reduce item-writing flaws
✨ Save faculty time while promoting effective learning

The workshop was highly interactive, with participants gaining hands-on experience using these tools and discovering innovative ways to enhance teaching, assessment, and student engagement.
