We are proud to highlight Ms. Saadia Ahmed, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Theatre, Film & TV (TFT), School of Media & Mass Communication, for moderating the insightful panel discussion “Making of Home: Memory, Migration, and New Beginnings” at the National History Museum.

The conversation explored memories of Partition, migration, cultural identity, belonging, and the evolving meaning of home across generations.

Her contribution as a moderator reflects the role of our faculty in facilitating meaningful conversations around culture, history, storytelling, and society.

The Vice Chancellor of Beaconhouse National University met with the faculty and staff of the School of Media & Mass Communication for an insightful session focused on reflecting on the progress and developments of the past year.

The session brought together the Dean, Professor Dr. Bushra H. Rahman, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and staff, who shared their experiences, insights, and suggestions for further strengthening the School.

The Vice Chancellor listened to the concerns and recommendations shared by the team and assured that the discussed areas would be taken into consideration as we continue working towards the growth and development of SMC.

The Academy for Professional Development (APD), BNU, recently organized an insightful workshop on “Strategic Communication Under Pressure,” led by BNU Vice Chancellor Dr. Moeed Yusuf as the Lead Facilitator, with Dr. Rabia Noor, Head of Journalism & Mass Communication at SMC, serving as one of the key facilitators.

We are proud to share that Ms. Werdah Munib, Assistant Professor at the School of Media & Mass Communication (SMC), Beaconhouse National University, recently led an insightful session on Research Questions, Objectives & Literature Review at BCP A Level Gulberg Campus as part of the iQuest Student Research Fellowship.

iQuest is a specialized university preparation and profile-building initiative by the Beaconhouse College Programme (BCP), designed to equip high school students from Grade 9 to A Levels with the skills and experiences needed to build strong profiles for admission to leading universities worldwide.

During the session, fellows explored how to transform broad ideas into focused research questions, identify meaningful research gaps, and navigate academic literature effectively, essential skills for developing rigorous and impactful research.

We are proud to see our faculty members contributing their expertise to initiatives that empower young learners, nurture curiosity, and inspire the next generation of researchers. 🌟
