Students of The University of Larkano (TUoL) from all departments and campuses are encouraged to participate in the National Iqbal and Quaid Writing Contest 2026.

All interested students are requested to prepare an essay on the topic:

“Thoughts, Philosophy & Vision of Pakistan’s Founding Fathers”

The essay should be directly submitted to the Chairman, Department of English Language & Literature (DELL), TUoL Office.

Contest Details:

Eligibility: All students of The University of Larkano, from all departments and campuses
Word Limit: 1,000–2,000 words
Language: Urdu or English
Submission Deadline: 20th September 2026
Submission: Directly to the Chairman, DELL, TUoL Office

Farewell Reception in Honour of Colonel Hassan Ali

A farewell reception in honour of Colonel Hassan Ali was hosted by Mr. Khair Muhammad Shaikh, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh, at Pearl Garden, Larkana.

Prof. Dr. Nek Mohammad Shaikh, Vice Chancellor, The University of Larkano, attended the reception as a Special Guest, along & Advocate Anwar Ali Luhur, Mayor Larkana, distinguished guests, officers, and members of the Officers Club.

During the ceremony, the valuable services and contributions of Colonel Hassan Ali were highly appreciated, and best wishes were extended to him for his future endeavours.
