Official Visit of Hazara University Student Ambassadors to State Bank of Pakistan, Islamabad
November 18, 2025
Under the State Bank of Pakistan’s Student Ambassador Program 2025–26 (Banking on Equality), a delegation of students from the Department of Management Sciences, Hazara University Mansehra visited the State Bank of Pakistan, Islamabad as official Student Ambassadors.
The delegation, led by Focal Person Dr. Kaleem Saifullah, comprised 10 Student Ambassadors who were given an opportunity to engage with SBP officials and gain first-hand exposure to the working of the central banking system. The SBP Student Ambassador Program is a nationwide initiative that empowers students to “Take the Lead, Make an Impact!” by promoting financial literacy, financial inclusion, industry insight, women’s financial equality, and the broader vision of Banking on Equality.
During the visit, the students received detailed briefings on SBP’s initiatives related to financial inclusion, gender equality in finance, digitization of financial services, and economic development. They developed a deeper understanding of how central banking policies translate into real-sector impact and how inclusive finance contributes to poverty reduction and sustainable growth in Pakistan.
The Student Ambassadors were deeply impressed by SBP’s commitment to advancing financial inclusion and serving underserved segments of society. They also valued the opportunity to network with senior officials, discuss future trends in the financial sector, and explore potential avenues for academic collaboration, internships, and professional growth.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the State Bank of Pakistan, Islamabad for hosting our delegation and for providing such a valuable and inspiring learning experience for our students.
