Director Monitoring and Evaluation Visits Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan
Mardan: Director M&E Monitoring and Evaluation, Higher Education, Mr. Bashir Khan, visited Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) and met with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmad.
During the visit, detailed discussions were held on the university’s academic, research, administrative, and developmental initiatives. The visiting official inspected various facilities, particularly the New Academic Block, constructed with the support of Higher Education, Islamabad, and reviewed the progress and quality of ongoing and completed development projects.
Mr. Bashir Khan took particular interest in the Law Clinic, Psychology and Counseling facilities, Department of Pharmacy, Business Park, and Incubation Center. He appreciated the university’s efforts to provide students with opportunities for practical learning, research, entrepreneurship, innovation, and professional skill development.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmad briefed the visiting official on the university’s ongoing and future academic, research, and infrastructure development projects, as well as initiatives aimed at providing modern facilities to students.
The visiting official also inspected the Squash Court and newly constructed hostels, reviewing arrangements for sports, accommodation, and other essential student facilities. He appreciated the progress of the ongoing development work and the university administration’s efforts toward strengthening academic infrastructure.
Director Finance Mr. Saim Sohail, Director Works Mr. Waqar, and Director Planning Mr. Kamran accompanied the delegation during the visit.
The visit reaffirmed the shared commitment to advancing higher education, modernizing university infrastructure, strengthening research and practical learning, and providing students with improved educational and professional opportunities at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan.
