Students who intend to seek admission to MPhil or PhD in International Relations are strongly encouraged to take the GRE/HAT test, which will be conducted by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in the near future.
Under its new policy, as communicated through the attached notification, HEC has directed universities across Pakistan to discontinue internal or departmental admission tests for MPhil and PhD programs. Instead, it is now mandatory for applicants seeking admission in level 7 and 8 to qualify the standardized GRE/HAT test administered by HEC.
Accordingly, all prospective candidates are advised to register for and attempt the GRE/HAT test at the earliest opportunity to ensure their eligibility for admission.
