Mohi ud Din Islamic Medical College, Mirpur - AJK The first Medical College of Azad Jammu & Kashmir in either the public or the private sector.

The project of Mohi-ud-Din Islamic Medical College at Mirpur has recently been completed at a gigantic cost of Rs. 500 million. The total covered area of the college is around 3.5 lac square feet. High profile faculty and other staff has been appointed a per PMDC criteria. One thousand bed teaching hospital which is an integral part of the medical college is under construction and will be complete

d on priority basis. The Government of AJK has been pleased to grant affiliation of District Headquarters Hospital Mirpur AJK as a teaching Hospital of the College for a period of fifteen years. The medical college has the capacity to enroll one Hundred students per year. The Hostel facilities for five hundred Male and five hundred female students separately equipped with all requisite facilities have been provided. A separate hostel for Faculty and staff has also become functional.
