The Department of History & Civilization Studies, in collaboration with the Zakariyan History Society at Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan, organized an event to commemorate Milad-ul-Nabi (SAWW) on the occasion of Rabi-ul-Awwal 2024.

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by Naat-e-Rasool (SAWW) presentations and speeches on Seerah Rasool (SAWW) by students.
Respected Sir Yasir sahib , on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi , shed light on the vital facets of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) life and teachings, drawing on historical and civilizational references, and examining their relevance within the contemporary religious and social landscape of the state.
Respected Sir Qaswar Sahib, on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, drew the participants' attention to the historical sources for an in-depth detailed and thematic understanding of the Seerah (biography) of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), highlighting its significance in the contemporary era, particularly for the younger generation. He also enthralled the participants by mesmerizing recitation of soulful poetic renditions inspired by the Seerah of the Prophet(peace be upon him).
Students participated in the Melad event with great enthusiasm and motivation.
Notable faculty members, including Prof. Dr. Shafiq Bhatti, Prof. Dr. Yasir Ali, Prof. Rehan Iqbal, and Dr. Qaswar Abbas, participated and shared their insights.
In his concluding remarks, Dr. Turab-ul-Hassan Sargana emphasized that the Holy Prophet's (peace be upon him) exemplary life serves as a practical model for us, teaching us to think and act with righteousness.
The program concluded with Dr. Rashid Khan leading prayers for the Muslim Ummah and national security.
