Report on Population management and family planning Seminar held at Govt Graduate College for Women, Chungi No 6, Multan

Under the direction of worthy Principal, An awareness event “Showcasing of Documentaries in Public Colleges and Universities under ADP Scheme titled ‘Chief Minister Population Management and Family Planning’” was successfully held at our college on May 19, 2026.

The event was organized by Associate Professor Nazia Mushtaq The purpose of the event was to educate students about population management, family planning, reproductive health, and the social and economic impacts of rapid population growth through informative documentaries and interactive discussions.

The event was organized under the ADP Scheme initiated by the Government with the aim of spreading awareness among youth and encouraging responsible decision-making regarding family health and population-related issues.

The major objectives of the event were:

1. To create awareness regarding population management and family planning.

2. To educate students about reproductive health and responsible parenthood.

3. To highlight the challenges caused by overpopulation in society.

The event played a significant role in promoting awareness among students regarding one of the major issues faced by the country. It helped participants understand that population management is not only a governmental responsibility but also a social responsibility.

Report on Health Seminar Held at Govt Graduate College for Women, Chungi No 6, Multan

Under the direction of the Worthy Principal, a health seminar was organized by Dispensary Incharge Dr. Sara Khan at Govt. Graduate College (W), Chungi No. 6, Multan.

The seminar primarily focused on the Hantavirus and other seasonal diseases prevalent during the hot weather. Dr. Perisa Gul delivered an informative and insightful lecture on these health concerns, addressing their causes, symptoms, and preventive measures.

Students from various disciplines participated actively, engaging with the topic throughout the session. The subsequent Q&A segment further enhanced their understanding of the issues discussed.

At the conclusion, the Vice Principal expressed gratitude to Dr. Perisa Gul for dedicating her time and expertise to educate the students.
