💻📂 E-FOAS Training Session Conducted at MNSUET Multan

Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering & Technology (MNSUET), Multan, successfully organized a training session on the e-Filing & Office Automation System (e-FOAS) for faculty members and administrative staff.

The session was attended by Prof. Dr. Touseef Aized, Vice Chancellor, and Prof. Dr. Asim Umer, Registrar, along with faculty members, officers, and administrative personnel. The training focused on the effective utilization of e-FOAS, a modern digital platform designed to transform traditional office procedures into a paperless, efficient, and transparent system. e-FOAS facilitates electronic file management, document archiving, approval workflows, inter-departmental communication, meeting management, and real-time tracking of official correspondence.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Touseef Aized emphasized the importance of digital transformation in higher education institutions and highlighted that the adoption of modern automation systems will enhance efficiency, transparency, and service delivery across the university.

Prof. Dr. Engr. Touseef Aized, Vice Chancellor, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering & Technology (MNSUET), Multan, has formally assumed the additional charge of Vice Chancellor, Mir Chakar Khan Rind University of Technology (MCUT), Dera Ghazi Khan, effective from June 10, 2026.

During his visit, Prof. Dr. Touseef Aized chaired an introductory meeting with university officials, reviewed academic and administrative matters, and visited various departments, laboratories, and offices.

A meeting of the Academic Council held at MNS University of Engineering and Technology (MNS-UET) discussed in detail important issues related to the university’s academic and research affairs, improvement in the curriculum, launch of new academic programs and overall development of the institution.
The meeting was chaired by MNS UET VC, Dr. Tauseef Aized, while Registrar UET Prof. Dr. Asim Umar, along with deans, heads and faculty members of various departments, attended the meeting.
The academic council approved the start of several new academic programmes. In addition, approval was also accorded for the start of MS and PhD programmes in the university.
The launch of these programmes will provide students with more opportunities for high-quality education and research. VC Dr. Tauseef Aized addressing the meeting said that the varsity was expanding its programmes according to modern educational requirements so that students can be provided with competitive opportunities at the national and international levels.
The varsity administration is trying to motivate students to pursue degrees in modern technical skills for the future. The coming time will be for only those with technical degrees, so it is better for students to enroll in degrees whose market value is in the country.
