We were honored to welcome Sardar Mastan Singh (Director, Guru Nanak Ji School) and Ms. Raj Fatima (School Head) to Punjab College Nankana Sahib. The visit, hosted by our Principal, Haji Asif Ali, was a wonderful opportunity to share visions for the future of education in our city.
During the visit, Sardar Mastan Singh highly appreciated the "glowing environment" and the disciplined atmosphere of our campus. Our discussions focused on:

The primary objective of this session, convened by *Principal Haji Asif Ali*, was to mentor the college's "Academic Ambassadors" (top-performing students) on the importance of character building, self-motivation, and the integration of modern technology in their studies. The meeting aimed to shift students from a state of dependency on traditional tutoring toward becoming self-reliant learners through the use of PGC App and NotebookLM, while ensuring they remain grounded in "Insaniyat" (humanity) and moral ethics.

Key Discussion Points:
* Character and Ethics: The Principal emphasized that being a high achiever is secondary to being a good human being. He stressed the importance of humility, proper etiquette when interacting with parents and neighbors, and responding thoughtfully rather than reacting impulsively.
* Performance Indicators (KPIs): The results of the December tests were identified as key performance indicators. Students were encouraged to use these results to evaluate their current standing and refine their planning for the upcoming final examinations in May and June.
* Self-Motivation vs. External Dependency: A core theme was the transition to *self-motivation*. The Principal advised students to move away from total reliance on academies and teachers, instead taking charge of their own academic planning.

* Time Management: The Principal directed students to manage their 24-hour cycle effectively, ensuring that academic work does not become an unmanageable burden that negates the benefits of extra coaching.
* Controlled Technology Use:*To avoid "two-boat sailing" (distraction), students were advised to use NotebookLM for a focused 30 minutes per day per subject*. They were cautioned not to get lost in the AI's curiosity-driven prompts but to stay focused on their specific source material.
* Mental Health Focus:*A specific directive was given to prioritize *mental health*, urging students to remain resilient and not become overwhelmed by minor stressors.

In his closing remarks, *Principal Haji Asif Ali* shared his vision of a community empowered by technology and character. He expressed that while he has worked tirelessly to equip the faculty, the ultimate goal is to see the students the "Ambassadors of the Institution" lead with independence and dignity.
