Nawabshah: QUEST organizes Essay Writing Competition under Marka-e-Haq Commemoration Activities
Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science & Technology (QUEST), Nawabshah, organized an Essay Writing Competition today at the Department of Computer Systems Engineering (CSE) as part of the ongoing Marka-e-Haq One Year Anniversary Commemoration Activities.
The competition was held under the theme “What you learn from Marka-e-Haq” / “معرکۂ حق سے کیا سیکھا؟”. Students participated enthusiastically and expressed their thoughts on the lessons of truth, courage, sacrifice, unity, national resolve, and commitment to the defence and progress of Pakistan.
The activity aimed to encourage students to reflect on the importance of national solidarity and the sacrifices of Pakistan’s Armed Forces, while also developing their writing, analytical, and expressive skills. Participants wrote in English and Urdu, highlighting how Marka-e-Haq represents the spirit of truth, service, resilience, and patriotism.
The competition was conducted in an organized manner, with evaluation based on originality, relevance, structure, subject knowledge, clarity of expression, and strength of argument. Winners will be awarded prizes in recognition of their performance.
QUEST faculty members, officers, and organizers appreciated the active participation of students and emphasized that such academic and patriotic activities help strengthen awareness, responsible citizenship, and love for the country among the youth.
The event was organized as part of the university’s series of activities from 1st to 10th May 2026 to commemorate Marka-e-Haq and to express solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces.
