The Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Jinnah University for Women, is delighted to announce that Neha Tanveer, Malaika Khan, Mariyam Naqeeb, and Sohaiba Nadeem — students of Batch SE 2022 — have secured first position at the Idea Pitch Competition in Techathon 2026 held at Bahria University.
Under the supervision of Ms. Anum Ilyas Zia, the team presented ScoliAssist, an innovative solution aimed at supporting the treatment of scoliosis. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the team and their supervisor on this outstanding achievement.

The National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC) delegation, including Mr. Shoab Khan (Chancellor, Sir Syed CASE Institute of Technology) and Dr. Rabia Riaz (Associate Professor, University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir), visited the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Jinnah University for Women.
The visit featured constructive discussions with faculty and students, focusing on academic workflows and opportunities for quality enhancement. The council members commended the efforts of the department’s management and faculty in maintaining strong academic standards.
We value the feedback and insights shared by the delegation and look forward to implementing their recommendations, particularly in strengthening Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) practices and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processes.
