Muhammad Ali, a 4th semester student of the Department of English, GPGC Nowshera, recently appeared on the morning show Sahar on AVT Khyber, hosted by Zaki ur Rehman. As a Youth Ambassador, rababist, guitarist, and vocalist, Muhammad Ali was invited to inspire and encourage the youth through his journey in music and leadership.

April 30 – The Literary Society, Department of English, GPGC Nowshera, held a thought-provoking book circle on Mohsin Hamid’s The Reluctant Fundamentalist. Students from the 2nd, 4th, and 6th semesters led the discussion, engaging peers and faculty in a critical exploration of key themes including the layered meanings of the title, the symbolic relationship between Changez and Erica, the politics of silence, nostalgia, and the post-9/11 challenges of Muslim identity, xenophobia, and Islamophobia.

The session showcased the power of literature in helping students interpret complex political and cultural realities through narrative.
