With great pride and happiness, we congratulate Wajih Uddin from Upper Chitral (Terich) on being awarded the Prime Minister’s Laptop. This achievement is a true reflection of his continuous hard work, discipline, and strong commitment to his studies.

Currently studying Civil Engineering at UET Peshawar and in his 6th semester, Wajih has proven that success comes to those who stay consistent and focused on their goals.

This honor also belongs to his parents for their prayers and sacrifices, and to his teachers for their sincere guidance and support. Their role in his journey is truly commendable.

UET Peshawar | CSA Campaign 2026

Today, Umar Hayat Baig, Presidential Candidate of Chitral Students Association (CSA) KPK and a student of the University of Peshawar (Department of Disaster Management), visited UET Peshawar as part of his campaign for the upcoming elections on 9th February.

It is worth mentioning that Umar Hayat Baig was the only CSA presidential candidate who personally came to UET Peshawar, showing his seriousness and willingness to listen directly to students.

During the visit, Sajid Iqbal (Civil Engineering, final year student at UET Peshawar) and Hamad Ur Rehman (Industrial Engineering, 6th semester) shared the key issues faced by Chitrali students at UET Peshawar.

After listening carefully, Umar Hayat Baig assured full support and promised that, after winning the election, he would work to resolve all genuine problems faced by Chitrali students. He also committed to including a UET Peshawar representative in his CSA core team to ensure better coordination and timely solutions.

In return, the Chitrali students of UET Peshawar expressed their full support and pledged to vote for Umar Hayat Baig with unity in the upcoming CSA elections.

Strengthening Bonds – Chitrali UETian’s × CSWO Islamabad

We were deeply honored to host Mr. Muhammad Abdullah Asfandiyar, President of the Chitral Students Welfare Organization (CSWO) Islamabad, at UET Peshawar, on the special invitation of the President of Chitrali UETian’s.
During this meaningful interaction held at the Engineering Tribal Hostel, both presidents engaged in a constructive discussion and formally signed an agreement for future collaboration between the two organizations. The dialogue covered various prospects of mutual cooperation in academic, co-curricular, and leadership development activities.
We, the members of Chitrali UETian’s, extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Abdullah Asfandiyar for taking out time from his busy schedule to visit us. A heartfelt farewell party was recently organized by the junior Chitrali students at UET for their graduating seniors, marking a beautiful and emotional moment of celebration and reflection. The event was filled with warmth, laughter, and gratitude as the juniors went above and beyond to honor the efforts and achievements of their seniors. A special highlight of the evening was the cake-cutting ceremony, gracefully led by the Chairman Electrical department, who not only shared in the joy of the occasion but also offered valuable words of encouragement and wisdom to the students. The atmosphere was filled with unity and mutual respect as memories were shared and bonds were strengthened. President of the Chitrali Students Society, Muhsin, expressed his sincere thanks to the juniors for arranging such a meaningful event and emphasized the importance of standing by each other in every field of life, encouraging everyone to continue this beautiful tradition of brotherhood and support. The President of UET Chitralians, Mr. Muhsin ul Mulk, and the President of Mulkhow Student Organization (MSO), Mr. Sheeda Ahmad, met with the Deputy Speaker of KPK Assembly, Madam Suraya Bibi. On this occasion, the presidents discussed the issues faced by students with Madam and informed her about their concerns. After listening to all the issues, Madam assured them of resolving the problems and appreciated their efforts, promising full support in the future. It gives us great pleasure to announce that for the 2024-25 session, Muhsin-ul-Mulk has been elected as the President of Chitrali UETians. Muhsin, who hails from Mulkhow Warijun, is currently studying in the 7th semester of the Civil Engineering Department at UET. We are hopeful that Mr. President will fulfill his responsibilities diligently and will raise his voice for the issues faced by both new and old Chitrali students, working towards resolving their problems.
