Department of Pharmacy:
Ms. Gul-e-Maryam has successfully defended her PhD dissertation titled “Topical Gel Decorated with Terbinafine Hydrochloride Nanomicelles for Enhanced Dermal Drug Delivery” .
She completed her research work under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Fazli Nasir.
The research aimed to improving drug pe*******on into the skin, enhancing retention at the target site, and increasing its effectiveness in the treatment of cutaneous fungal infections.
The thesis was evaluated by Dr. Shoaib Iqbal, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences FEIK School of Pharmacy, University of the Incarnate word Texas, USA and Prof. Dr. Syed Atif Raza, Department of Pharmaceutics, College of Pharmacy, University of the Punjab .
The external examiner for the PhD defence was Prof. Dr. Syed Atif Raza, Department of Pharmaceutics, College of Pharmacy, University of the Punjab, while the internal examiner was Dr. Abuzar Khan, Department of Pharmacy, University of Peshawar.
The Public Defence was attended by Dr. Mohammad Ismail Tajik, Chairman, Department of Pharmacy, University of Peshawar, faculty members from various universities, research scholars, Pharmacy Professionals and Mr. Muhammad Tariq President Alumni Association, Department of Pharmacy, University of Peshawar.
