In continuation of the Lecture Series Programme, the Department of Shariah & Law organised a lecture and speech competition on the theme “ہم بدلیں گے سوچ” focusing on the importance of addressing and reframing workplace harassment. The event was held on Wednesday December 03, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Khyber Union Hall.

Honourable Federal Ombudsperson, Ms. Fauzia Wiqar graced the occasion as the Guest Speaker and delivered an insightful talk on the topic.

The Head of Department, faculty members, and students warmly welcomed the distinguished guest.
At the end of the event, Islamia College Souvenir was presented to the Guest Speaker, and shields were awarded to the position holders of the competition.

The students greatly benefited from this informative and thought-provoking session.

Hafiza Nimra Shah, a recent CSS qualifier, visited the Social Sciences Block at Islamia College Peshawar, where she received a warm and cordial welcome from the Chairman of the Law Department, the Chairman of the Political Science Department, and other esteemed faculty members. During her visit, Hafiza Nimra Shah addressed the students, sharing the inspiring story of her journey to success. She also took the time to engage with the students by answering their queries and providing valuable insights. In recognition of her achievements, she was presented with a shield and a souvenir by the Chairmen of the Law and Political Science Departments as a token of appreciation for her remarkable accomplishments.

Welcome Party for Newly Admitted Students – Department of Shariah & Law

Today, the Department of Shariah & Law, Islamia College Peshawar, warmly welcomed its newly admitted students in a graceful welcome ceremony.
The event was graced by the Head of Department Mr. Iftikhar Ahmad Khan and organiser Dr mehnaz Begum along with distinguished faculty members, who extended heartfelt greetings to the fresh entrants.
In their addresses, the speakers introduced the students to the proud legacy, achievements, and academic excellence of the Department, emphasizing how fortunate they are to become part of one of the most prestigious and meritorious departments of Islamia College Peshawar.
