𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗙𝗕𝗜𝗦𝗘 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has introduced a restructured examination pattern for five core subjects at SSC and HSSC levels.

Under the new pattern, question papers will consist of:

✅ 𝟱𝟬% 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗠𝗖𝗤𝘀)
✅ 𝟱𝟬% 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏 𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐:
• Mathematics
• Biology
• Chemistry
• Physics
• Computer Science

The change will be implemented phase-wise:

• From Second Annual Examination 2026, the new pattern will apply to fresh SSC-I and HSSC-I students appearing for the first time under the Inclusive Scheme of Studies 2024 (1200 Marks).

• From First Annual Examination 2027 onwards, it will also apply to relevant SSC-II and HSSC-II students who had already appeared under the same new pattern in Second Annual Examination 2026.

• All SSC-I and HSSC-I students appearing in First Annual Examination 2027 under the Inclusive Scheme of Studies 2024 (1200 Marks) will follow the new pattern.

• From First Annual Examination 2028 onwards, the pattern will subsequently apply at SSC-II and HSSC-II levels to students who previously appeared under the same pattern in SSC-I/HSSC-I.

FBISE has also developed Assessment Frameworks, Model Question Papers, SLO Alignment Charts and Tables of Specifications (ToS) for these subjects.
