Congratulations to our Alumni Prof. Khan Muhammad, Director of Visual Analytics for Knowledge Laboratory (VIS2KNOW Lab), Department of Applied AI of Sungkyunkwan University, who has officially received the "Nobel Candidate Special Award", highest excellency award of Sungkyunkwan University.
Dr. Khan is an alumnus of the Digital Image Processing Laboratory Islamia Collge University Peshawar.
This award is meant to acknowledge the achievement of the candidate and exhort him to tread enthusiastically toward attaining the Nobel Prize.
It is certainly a proud moment for all the Pakistanis.

The worthy Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Gul Majid Khan visited Digital Image Processing Laboratory (DIP Lab), Islamia College Peshawar. Dr. Sajjad Sb along with his research teams warmly welcomed the Vice-Chancellor and Hon'able President SAA ICP Muhammad Zaman Khan Muhammadzai. He was given a briefing about lab activities by Sir Dr. Muhammad Sajjad and his team members Muhammad Munsif, Habib Khan, and Sareer Ul Amin.
Dr. Sajjad briefed the Vice-Chancellor Sahib regarding innovative research projects going on in the lab and highlighted the contributions of DIP alumni. The VC Sahib highly appreciated the research and development contributions made by DIP Lab and showed great interest to exhibit the projects. He praised the outstanding performances of the youngest researchers with limited resources. He said that Science and Technology is dire need of time. If we want to compete in the world then we must be highly rich in the field of science and technology. In the end, He ensured his full support to the DIP lab and on the spot, President SAA ICP announced UPS on Students' requests.
