Highlights from Culture Day 2026 organised by Pashto Society Edwardes College Peshawar🎉

Our Principal, Prof. Shujat Ali Khan, and Vice Principal, Prof. Naveed Ali, Associate Prof. Nasir Iqbal along with other faculty members visited the vibrant stalls set up by students representing different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Students proudly showcased traditional foods, dresses, heritage, and cultural artefacts from their respective regions, reflecting the rich diversity and heritage of the province.

The event offered a meaningful glimpse into the traditions, flavors, and identities that make Khyber Pakhtunkhwa culturally rich.

An orientation session was held at Edwardes College on 10th February 2026 in collaboration with the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, .

Intermediate students were introduced to Peace and Conflict Studies, its interdisciplinary scope, and its relevance to contemporary social challenges. The discussion also highlighted how the discipline develops critical thinking, analytical skills, and informed engagement with issues of conflict and peace. Students were briefed on higher education pathways and career options in civil services, diplomacy, international organizations, NGOs, media, and community development.

The session concluded with a Q&A, addressing queries related to admissions, subject combinations, and future prospects. The Principal, Vice Principal, and faculty members were also in attendance.
