Khyber College of Dentistry (KCD), a premier institution in the country, since its establishment in 1964, has been carrying forward the legacy of Prof. It has been guiding thousands of students on their way, shaping their future to look after the oral health problems of the community. The passion for excellence that drives it can be seen in every aspect of this vibrant future focused institution from its stringent recruitment police and academic performance to its outstanding infrastructure and placement criteria. Khyber College of Dentistry is affiliated to Khyber medical University. The Pakistan Medical & Dental Council has recognized the institution the institution since 1968 which further substantiates the high standards of excellence that the institution has set for itself. Khyber College of Dentistry is located in the lush green campus of Peshawar University, with an impressive built-up area of over 10000sq ft, extends career building opportunities for 77 undergraduate students every year and eight Post Graduate programs. Highly qualified and well experienced faculties mould and mentor the students for prospective careers. We are happy to place on record that our students make us proud by not only securing university ranks but also perfuming well in FCPS part-1. Certificate in AI in Research - 2nd Last Session Successfully Conducted at KCD

The 5th session of the Certificate in AI in Research was successfully conducted at Khyber College of Dentistry.

This innovative certification, organized by the Research Promotion Cell, KCD under the chairmanship of Prof Dr. Aiman Khan in collaboration with IHPER, Khyber Medical University, is designed to empower faculty and postgraduate trainees with the practical application of Artificial Intelligence in health research.

The course covers the use of AI tools for literature review, research proposal development, data management and analysis, scientific writing, referencing, and ethical considerations in AI-assisted research.

The course is being efficiently organized by Dr. Kanwal Safeer, Dr. Suman Mohammad Wazir, and Dr. Sheema Shakir.

We sincerely thank our worthy Dean, KCD for his continued support in promoting a culture of modern research.

Khyber College of Dentistry (KCD), Peshawar, successfully organized a workshop on โ€œConflict Resolution and Workplace Harmonyโ€ on Wednesday, 30th September 2026, at the Dean Secretariat Lecture Hall.

The session was facilitated by Ms. Reikhmena Babar, Spokesperson, Human Rights Council Pakistan, and Former UN Human Rights Coordinator, who shared valuable insights on effective conflict resolution, constructive communication, human rights, and promoting harmony in the workplace.

The workshop provided participants with practical perspectives on managing workplace conflicts, fostering respectful professional relationships, and creating a positive and collaborative institutional environment.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Prof. Dr. Aimen Khan, Chairperson, CPD Committee, presented a certificate of appreciation and a shield to the facilitator, acknowledging her valuable contribution and participation.

Prof. Dr. Aimen Khan also expressed gratitude to the entire CPD Committee for their dedicated efforts in organizing the session and thanked the facilitator for sharing her valuable knowledge and experience with the participants.

The inauguration ceremony of the Dental Materials Shop was held at Khyber College of Dentistry (KCD) on 28th September, 2026.

Prof. Dr. Syed Nasir Shah, Dean KCD, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, along with faculty members and demonstrators.

The new facility aims to provide convenient access to essential dental materials and support students in their academic and clinical training.

KCD remains committed to strengthening student facilities and enhancing the overall learning environment.

The ceremony concluded with a hi-tea reception at the Examination Hall on the 5th floor.

It was a well organised, structured assessment exam designed to evaluate the practical skills and knowledge acquired by students during their rotation.

Multidisciplinary perspective in the management of orofacial pain was discussed for the better diagnosis and management of the patients.
