🇵🇰🇧🇩 IMSciences at Pakistan Bangladesh Education Expo 2026 – Dhaka

The Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) participated in the Pakistan Bangladesh Education Expo 2026 held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, marking another step towards strengthening regional academic collaboration and educational outreach.

During Day 01 of the expo, Mr. Asad Ashfaq, Head of the Career Development Center at IMSciences, engaged with more than 500 students from diverse educational institutions across Dhaka. Students were guided regarding academic opportunities at IMSciences, the significance of quality higher education in Pakistan, and the benefits of the Allama Iqbal Scholarship Program for international students.

The IMSciences stall also attracted faculty members, academic professionals, and representatives from various universities who expressed keen interest in future collaborations in the areas of research, training, development, and academic exchange initiatives.

The occasion was graced by the presence of Honorable Minister of Education and Primary & Mass Education, Dr. ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon, along with Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Mr. Imran Haider, and other distinguished dignitaries, reflecting the growing educational ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Book Launch Session | Art & Culture Society

On May 5, 2026, the Art & Culture Society hosted the launch of A Girl Who Wore a Crown of Blood by author Nihal Rahman under the theme “Leadership and Growth: The Worth of Talents in our Quest for Identity.”

More than a book launch, the session became an engaging discussion on leadership, youth responsibility, identity, and the challenges faced by young individuals in positions of power. The novel’s storyline — centered around a young woman unexpectedly stepping into corporate leadership after a family tragedy — resonated deeply with the audience and sparked meaningful conversations on women’s empowerment, resilience, and real-world accountability.

The IMSciences Institutional Scholarship Award Committee approved a total of 49 fully funded scholarships amounting Rs. 60 million for the financially needy and talented students from 29 districts of KP including NMDs, who recently have secured admission at the Institute of Management Sciences Peshawar in twelve (12) Undergraduate and nine (9) Graduate Level Programs Session 2025-2029 under HEC, IMSciences NMDs (Ex FATA) and Chief Minister Education Endowment Fund (CMEEF) Need Based Merit Scholarship Programs.

Later, Mr. Ayub Zakori, CEO Zakori Group briefed the students on the business operations and shared insights from his entrepreneurial journey focusing on the diversification imperative, a growth mindset, consistent innovation and legacy business

Aligned with HEC directives, IMSciences has institutionalized internships as a mandatory component of all undergraduate programs.

For undergraduate students from all disciplines / programs enrolled from 2024 onwards, completing an internship carrying 3 credit hours is a compulsory degree requirement. Students are encouraged to actively secure placements this summer across diverse industries, gaining practical experience under professional supervision while building essential workplace skills.
