Verto is officially launched — the first community-driven Khowar translation platform for Chitral.
Our language is part of our identity, our history, and our future. Verto was created for the people of Chitral to document and preserve Khowar by bringing together native speakers, students, and language lovers from across the region.
The app allows users to read daily Khowar sentences and translate them into Urdu and Roman Chitrali. Every contribution helps build a growing digital database that will serve students, researchers, and future generations.
Verto is free to use and currently available on Android. Users can earn points, build streaks, and compete on university leaderboards while contributing to a meaningful cause. The iOS version will be launching soon.
This initiative is proudly developed by CDGAI in collaboration with CECOS University.
