Highlights from the Six-Day Criminology Summer School 2026 held at the BaraGali Summer Campus, University of Peshawar from 10th to 15th August 2026.

The closing session of the Criminology Summer School 2026 was held on 15th August 2026 at the Bara Gali Summer Campus, University of Peshawar, marking the culmination of a memorable six-day learning experience.
The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including the Chief Guest, Dr. Johar Ali, Vice Chancellor, University of Peshawar; Dr. Jehanzeb Khan, Vice Chancellor, University of Science and Technology Bannu; Dr. Anwar Alam, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Peshawar; Dr. Basharat Hussain, Chairman, Department of Criminology, University of Peshawar; and Dr. Waheed Abbasi, Chairman, Department of Criminology, University of Sindh, Jamshoro.
The ceremony featured the presentation of shields to the distinguished guests, followed by the distribution of certificates among the participants in recognition of their successful completion of the Summer School. The six-day programme came to a close with a group photograph, marking the end of a week filled with learning, exposure, and shared experiences.

The Inaugural session for the Criminology Summer School 2026 begun on 11th August 2026 at the BaraGali Summer Campus, University of Peshawar.
The Summer School marked a significant milestone by bringing together 60 student delegates and faculty members from various universities across Pakistan, providing a valuable platform for academic engagement, learning, and exchange of ideas.
The Summer School was joined by the distinguished guests including the honourable Chief Guest, Dr. Ikramullah, VC, University of Hazara; Dr. Basharat Hussain, Chairman, Department of Criminology, University of Peshawar; Mr. Umair Khan, DIG, Prison Department, Hazara Region; Prof. Dr. Rasul Khan, Chairman, Institute of Chemical Sciences, University of Peshawar; Prof. Dr. Shuja Ahmed, Chairman, Department of Philosophy, University of Peshawar, and Madam Shagufta Gul, UN Women.
The event was concluded with a shield distribution and a group photograph with the guests.
