To engage the Pakistani youth in healthy discourse and expose them to the democratic process and practices, PILDAT (Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development And Transparency) launched the project of first-ever Youth Parliament Pakistan (YPP) in 2007. Members of YPP are selected for a duration of one year during which they meet for five one-week terms. The first batch of Youth Parliament Pakistan was selected in 2007 and from thereon, Youth Parliament has had five batches so far in 2007, 2008-2009, 2009-2010, 2012 and 2013.
Interested Pakistani youth (age 18-29) can submit Expression of Interest forms (EOI) before Thursday, May 15, 2014.

Qira'at:
1st: Qari Yahya Abdur Rehman (Computer Science)
2nd: Qaria Rabia (Psychology)
3rd: Qari Waliullah (Seerat & Islamic Studies)

Naat:
1st: Malik Usman Saani (Geology)
2nd: Anam Sana (Law College)
3rd: Umm-e-Rabab (International Relations)
3rd: Naila (Pashto)

Our heartiest congratulations for all the Position Holders. And other participants must not lose their hearts, remember its never the end. Best of luck to all of you.
All the Participants and Position holders can get their certificates from Mr. Zahir Shah, Provost Office, UOP.

Rules and Regulations for Qirat and Naat Competition

Khyber Literary Club is going to Arrange an Intra-University Qira'at and Naat Competition on 6th of March, 2014 at Agha Khan Hall, University of Peshawar. Students who want to participate in the event must register their names and contact details and category (Naat, Qirat) with Mr. Zahir Shah at Provost Office by February 28th, 2014. You can also register by sending us your Name, Contact details and Category via message on Facebook.
Share it with your friends who you think can participate. Also inform others who want to join us as audience in this majestic gathering.
