The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan was established under The Chartered Accountants Ordinance, 1961 as a self regulatory body and it operates under the CA Bye Laws 1983. ICAP is an examining body for the candidates aspiring to become Chartered Accountants. It regulates the accounting and auditing profession in Pakistan, which inter alia include:

Finance Olympiad for Students
This contest will allow you to gain more knowledge, study various topics in greater detail and thereby improve your performance in the examination; further it will refine your communication skills and enhance your ability to give quick solutions to problems. The winners will represent CA Pakistan in the SAFA students’ Olympiad in Dacca, Bangladesh on January 22, 2017.
The contest will also provide an opportunity to network, make global connections and gauge your worth amongst competitive trainees from SAFA region. Travelling and exposure to colleagues from diverse cultures will widen the mental horizons of the participants and augment the richness of students’ technical, analytical skills and overall personality.
