*CELEBRATING ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE IN JAPAN*

Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) takes immense pride in announcing the remarkable global achievements of our distinguished alumnus, *Dr. Muhammad Umar Nadeem*.

A graduate of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering (B.Sc. 2020; M.Sc. 2022), Dr. Nadeem has reached a pinnacle of academic success at the *University of Tsukuba*, Japan, where he was conferred the degree of *Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)* in Engineering on March 25, 2026.

Since moving to Japan as a MEXT Scholar in 2023, Dr. Nadeem has consistently demonstrated the high caliber of research and leadership fostered at our institution:

*Top 1% Academic Distinction*: At his graduation ceremony, he was honored with the *Best Student Award* and the prestigious *Meikei-kai Award*, an elite recognition reserved for the *Top 1–2% of all graduates*.

*National Research Recognition*: He received the *Best Presentation Award* at the Science Academy of Tsukuba (SAT), notably as the *only international recipient among 150 speakers across Japan*.
