Scientific Model Exhibition at the University of Rawalpindi

The Department of Pharmacy, University of Rawalpindi, organized a Scientific Model Exhibition where Pharm-D students showcased their scientific knowledge, creativity, and practical understanding of pharmaceutical sciences.

Students presented 3D scientific models based on human physiology, turning complex concepts, structures, and functions into engaging visual representations. The activity gave students an opportunity to connect classroom learning with practical application while developing their scientific communication, critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and presentation skills.

The exhibition reflects the University of Rawalpindi’s commitment to experiential and student-centered learning, providing Pharm-D students with opportunities to explore pharmaceutical sciences beyond traditional classroom teaching.

UOR faculty member Dr. Saniya Moazzam represented University of Rawalpindi at the 3rd International Conference on Media & Communication (ICMAC 2026), presenting her research poster on “Digital Citizenship and Media Literacy Among Youth.”

Her research explored how media literacy and digital citizenship can support responsible online engagement among young people.

Through their presentations, students shared meaningful messages about the pharmacy profession and highlighted the responsibilities and impact of pharmacists in society.

Dr. Muhammad Abubakar, Chairman Board of Governors, University of Rawalpindi, joined leading academic and research experts at the roundtable on “Intellectual Property, Technology Transfer and Academia–Industry Linkages,” organized by IPO-Pakistan and YES Pakistan in collaboration with the HEC Task Force on ORICs & BICs.

The conversation focused on a crucial question for higher education: how can research move beyond the university and create real-world value?

From intellectual property and technology transfer to research commercialization, industry collaboration and innovation, the discussion explored practical ways to build stronger connections between ideas, institutions and impact.

Keep your CNIC and university documents, bedsheets, towels, toiletries, comfortable clothes, slippers, basic medicines, chargers, a power bank, laundry bag, and a lock for your cupboard or luggage.

🛏️ Set up your space
Keep your belongings organised, create a small study corner, and have everyday essentials like a water bottle and basic stationery within reach.
