The college is affiliated with Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Rawalpindi; at intermediate level in Science and

Arts Group. And at degree level it is affiliated with the University of Punjab for humanities and science group.

The Opening Ceremony of the 4th HED Sports Events (Provincial Level) Hockey Championship (Boys & Girls) was held today at Government Viqar-un-Nisa Graduate College for Women, Rawalpindi.

The championship is scheduled to continue from January 20th to January 23rd. Upholding the institution's age-old tradition of hospitality, the college is hosting the event. Principal Professor Dr. Zahida Parveen oversaw all necessary arrangements within a limited timeframe, ensuring everything from the accommodation of teams arriving from across Punjab to the successful ex*****on of the scheduled matches was handled seamlessly.

The championship was officially inaugurated at 10:00 AM by the Chief Guest, Miss Shazia Rizwan (MPA), Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Culture.

Three matches were scheduled for the opening day:

1st Match: Multan vs. Sargodha (Won by Multan)
2nd Match: Bahawalpur vs. Faisalabad (Won by Faisalabad)
3rd Match: Sargodha vs. Gujranwala
