Inauguration of Upgraded FUI Jinnah Auditorium
Modernizing Learning Spaces | Enhancing Multimedia Capabilities | Strengthening Academic Infrastructure
The upgraded Jinnah Auditorium at Foundation University Islamabad (FUI) was inaugurated on 4 June 2026 by Rector FUI, Dr. Raza Ali Khan. The extensive renovation has transformed the auditorium into a modern multimedia and acoustic hub designed to support a wide range of academic, professional, and institutional events.
The facility now features high-resolution digital displays, enhanced acoustic systems, and upgraded audio-visual infrastructure, ensuring an immersive experience for presenters and audiences alike. The stage and control room have undergone a complete overhaul, including the installation of a new SMD screen, modern wall paneling, and integrated audio-video systems that provide professional-grade multimedia support and centralized operational control.
Additionally, the frontal facelifting of the Jinnah Auditorium has given the facility a distinctive new appearance, enhancing its aesthetic appeal and reflecting the high standards of excellence upheld by Foundation University Islamabad. The renovation has significantly improved both the functionality and visual identity of the venue.
These enhancements have modernized the Jinnah Auditorium into a state-of-the-art facility capable of hosting conferences, seminars, workshops, academic ceremonies, and other major university events while reinforcing FUI’s commitment to quality education, innovation, and institutional development.
