On October 6th, Worthy Vice Chancellor, University of Sahiwal Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hassan, held an interactive meeting with all regular faculty members to discuss his vision, objectives, and strategies for the development of the university and to promote a conducive academic environment. During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor emphasized that teaching is the fundamental responsibility of a faculty member and stressed the importance of regular and effective class-taking. He encouraged faculty members to deliver lectures through advanced, innovative, and student-centered teaching methodologies to enhance the quality of education and learning outcomes.
The Chairperson of the Department of Economics Dr-Muhammad Abdullah also attended the meeting with the vice chancellor along with the other faculty members. He endorsed the vision of the Vice Chancellor to take the Department of Economics, University of Sahiwal to new heights.

On October 5th, our classrooms turned into a celebration of gratitude, respect, and cherished memories as the students of BS Economics, BS Economics with Data Science, and M.Phil. Economics came together to celebrate World Teachers’ Day.

From heartfelt gestures to beautiful smiles, from thoughtful words to shared moments, our students reminded us of something truly special: the most rewarding part of teaching is knowing that your students remember not only what you taught them but also how you made them feel. 🌸

Their warmth and appreciation made the day more than a celebration—it became a beautiful reflection of the bond between teachers and learners.
