The Interdisciplinary Research Center for One Health (IRCOH), University of Sargodha (SU) and AI GEO Navigators have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry, particularly in the fields of geosciences, remote sensing, Geographic Information System (GIS), climate change, artificial intelligence, and One Health.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Zafar Hayat, Director IRCOH, and Mr. Asim Javed, CEO, AI GEO Navigators), Prof. Dr. Ahmad Raza Bilal, Director ORIC and IRCOH faculty were also present at the ceremony.
The focal persons for MoU were Ms. Shahida Haji (Research and Development Coordinator, AI GEO Navigators), while Dr. Syed Haroon Ali, and Dr. Hafiza Mamona Nazir represented the University of Sargodha. This partnership reflects a shared vision to enhance interdisciplinary research, promote capacity building, and foster innovation through the integration of geospatial technologies, geosciences, and health sciences.
The team from AI GEO Navigators participated in the university’s job fair, where they set up a booth and engaged with talented and enthusiastic students, creating opportunities for meaningful interaction and career guidance.
Through this collaboration, both institutions aim to promote knowledge sharing, student engagement, and practical learning experiences that bridge the gap between education and industry.
