The Closing Ceremony of the Freedom 250 Innovation Bootcamp was held at Lincoln Corner, University of Sargodha, marking the successful completion of the four-week program. The Bootcamp was conducted in two phases, engaging young children in the first two weeks and participants aged 18–24 years in the second phase.
Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor, while Dr. Ijaz Asghar, Focal Person of Lincoln Corner, also attended the ceremony.
The event featured an exhibition of innovative projects developed by the participants on diverse themes, reflecting their creativity and learning outcomes. The distinguished guests appreciated the participants’ efforts and commended the Lincoln Corner team for facilitating an engaging and skill-based learning experience.
Certificates were distributed among the participants in recognition of their successful completion of the Bootcamp, while Certificates of Appreciation were also awarded to the Friends of the Corner (FOCs) for their dedicated support in organizing and managing the program.
The ceremony concluded with acknowledgment of the collective efforts of participants, FOCs, and the Lincoln Corner team in making the Bootcamp a meaningful and successful initiative.

The Office of the Registrar, University of Sargodha, organized a Faculty Confirmation Ceremony to honor faculty members who successfully completed their probation period and fulfilled all codal formalities for confirmation of service.
Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas congratulated the confirmed faculty members and appreciated their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to academic excellence. He expressed confidence that they would continue to contribute to the University's teaching, research, and institutional development.
The ceremony was attended by deans of faculties, directors, and faculty members, and concluded with the Vice Chancellor extending his best wishes to the newly confirmed faculty for a successful academic career at the University of Sargodha.

The e-Rozgaar Center University of Sargodha organized
Graduation Ceremony on Thursday to celebrate the completion of training by students enrolled in the e-Rozgaar program.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Addressing the participants, he emphasized the importance of digital skills, freelancing, and entrepreneurship in today's competitive job market. He encouraged graduates to utilize the knowledge and skills they had acquired to build successful careers and contribute to Pakistan's digital economy.
During the ceremony, certificates were distributed among the graduating trainees in recognition of their successful completion of the program. Faculty members, university officials, trainers, and students attended the event and congratulated the graduates on their achievement.

Vice Chancellor, University of Sargodha, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas participated in the concluding ceremony of "Resurgence 2026," a two-day flagship research conference organized by the University of Education, Lahore, which brought together diplomats, vice chancellors, academicians, researchers, industry leaders, faculty members, and students from across the country.
During the conference, researchers presented innovative research, startup ideas, and policy recommendations in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Science, and other emerging disciplines, highlighting solutions to contemporary national and global challenges.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas appreciated the University of Education for successfully organizing the conference and providing a dynamic platform for promoting research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-academia collaboration. He also congratulated the University for recognizing more than 30 distinguished researchers for their outstanding contributions to research and innovation.
Addressing the concluding ceremony, Vice Chancellor, University of Education Lahore, Prof. Dr. Aqif Anwar Chaudhry, highlighted the University's recent achievements, including the inclusion of 14 faculty members among the world's top 2% scientists, improved national and international rankings, and the establishment of the UE Business Incubation Center to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercialization among students.

The Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) Accreditation Committee successfully concluded its two-day visit to the University of Sargodha, conducted under the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif to evaluate the University's academic standards, governance, and development initiatives.
During the visit, the committee held meetings with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan, Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, Principal, College of Agriculture, and the Director, Institute of Food Science and Nutrition. The delegation also inspected key campus facilities, including the University Gym and Sports Grounds, BOT-Model Student Cafeteria, Waheed Wain Incubation Center, UoS TV, Wazir Agha Central Library, Facilitation Center, and the laboratories and administrative offices of the Institute of Food Science and Nutrition.
During the exit meeting, the committee expressed satisfaction with the University's academic environment, modern infrastructure, research facilities, and student-centric initiatives. The members appreciated the University's remarkable progress and acknowledged the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas in advancing academic excellence, innovation, and institutional development.

On the directions of the Chief Minister of Punjab, the Accreditation Committee of the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) visited the University of Sargodha to conduct a comprehensive review of the University's educational standards, developmental projects, and administrative affairs.
During the visit, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas gave a detailed briefing on the University's academic achievements, research initiatives, infrastructure development, and student welfare projects. Following the briefing, the committee toured the College of Agriculture and various academic departments to inspect teaching and research facilities, review ongoing projects, and interact with faculty members and students to assess the University's academic environment and future development plans.
