Shikarpur — The Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur organized an inspiring Orientation Session for CSS Preparatory Classes (English Compulsory Subjects) at the Bhagat Kanwar Ram Auditorium.
The event formally inaugurated a structured initiative aimed at equipping aspirants with the linguistic competence, analytical skills, and intellectual discipline required for the Central Superior Services (CSS) Examination. Faculty members and a large number of students, particularly from BS Final Year, attended the session with keen interest.
Professor Dr. Naveed Ahmed Shaikh, Vice Chancellor, warmly welcomed the distinguished guests, Professor Ghulam Hussain Manganhar and Mr. Zubair Ahmed, and outlined the purpose of the initiative. He emphasized that competitive preparation fosters not only career advancement but also intellectual growth, leadership, and civic responsibility.
Mr. Zubair Ahmed, Lecturer in English from Aror University, presented a comprehensive overview of the CSS English compulsory subjects, highlighting précis writing, composition, comprehension, and grammar, along with practical preparation strategies.
The keynote address was delivered by Professor Ghulam Hussain Manganhar, a revered educationist with over fifty years of teaching experience. He offered an enlightening discourse on the origin, significance, and global importance of the English language, underscoring the value of vocabulary development and mastery of parts of speech as foundations of effective expression.
It was announced that the preparatory classes will be conducted every Friday and Saturday, with a detailed schedule to be shared soon through official channels. Significantly, the program will remain open to all aspiring youngsters of the region, reflecting the University’s commitment to empowering youth beyond its enrolled students.
The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, where students sought clarification and guidance from the speakers. The event reaffirmed the University’s dedication to academic excellence and its mission to prepare capable, confident, and competitive future leaders.
