7th Syndicate Meeting Held Under the Leadership of the Newly Appointed Vice Chancellor at The Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur
The Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur convened its 7th Syndicate Meeting under the distinguished leadership of its newly appointed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Naveed Ahmed Shaikh, on 12th February, 2026, at the University premises.
The meeting marked a significant milestone in the academic and administrative advancement of the institution.
Prof. Dr. Naveed Ahmed Shaikh presided over the meeting of the Syndicate. In his inaugural address, he emphasized the University’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence, transparent governance, institutional integrity, and adherence to statutory provisions. He reaffirmed his resolve to lead the Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur toward sustainable institutional development and quality enhancement in higher education.

The Syndicate engaged in comprehensive deliberations on matters of strategic academic and administrative importance. After careful consideration, it was unanimously resolved that the Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur shall, until the formulation and promulgation of its own Statutes and Code, follow the governing Statutes and regulatory framework of its mother institution, Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur.
It was further resolved that all decisions, policies, and administrative measures of the Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur shall be undertaken strictly in conformity with the provisions and guiding principles enshrined in the Updated Code, Regulations, Statutes and Rules of Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur, thereby ensuring legal compliance, procedural transparency, and institutional stability during the formative phase of the University.
Following the conclusion of the Meeting, the Honourable Members, led by the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Naveed Ahmed Shaikh, formally inaugurated the launch of CCTV cameras installed in eight (08) University student buses.This initiative reflects the University’s strong commitment to ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of its students, particularly those availing transport facilities.
The installation of modern surveillance systems in the buses represents a proactive step toward strengthening campus security measures and enhancing parental confidence in the University’s transport services.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the Chair. The Vice Chancellor expressed his appreciation for the valuable contributions of the respected Syndicate Members and reiterated his commitment to fostering academic excellence, good governance, and progressive institutional development at the Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur.
