A delegation of Govt. College Women University Sialkot visited the The Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Kausar, Vice-Chancellor, GCWUS on April 01, 2022.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by President Sialkot Chamber Mian Imran Akbar. An MOU signing ceremony was held between Sialkot Chamber and GC Women University Sialkot.
The MOU was signed by Mian Imran Akbar and Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Kausar to enhance industry-academia association in developing critical skills required by industry (both production and service sector) and conducting joint or coordinated scientific research and technological development programs.

The Irtiqa Mathematical Society organized “Quiz Competition”

The Irtiqa Mathematical Society organized “Quiz Competition” for all university students of G.C. Women University Sialkot. The quiz was divided into two levels i.e., initial and final level. More than 400 students participated in this competition.
The Initial level of Quiz competition was held on 18th March, 2022 under the supervision of Society Coordinators Miss Tayaba Akhtar and Miss Ayesha Iftikhar. It was based on general Mathematics and critical thinking questions. The society selected top 12 students for the final level.
The Final level of Quiz competition was held on 21st March, 2022 in University Auditorium. The qualified students of initial level participated in it. Dr. Hira Tariq, incharge, Department of Mathematics and other faculty members of Department of Mathematics also attended the final round of quiz.
Final level started with recitation of Holy Quran followed by Naat e Rasool. The participants were divided into two groups and the quiz started with great enthusiasm. The group who won round one was then asked questions individually. Top three students were selected and awarded with shields and certificates.
