Cadet College Skardu

Cadet College Skardu Cadet College Skardu is among the best cadet colleges in Pakistan. Government of Gilgit Baltistan approved the project of Cadet College Skardu in 1992.

Construction work started in 1994. Project was completed in 1996. The College started functioning in May, 2001. First batch appeared in Matric (SSC-I) in year 2003 and same batch appeared in HSSC-II in 2006. Science subjects are offered at Matric level. Pre-Engineering and Pre-Medical at Intermediate level. The College is affiliated with FBISE, Islamabad.

Subject: Prize Distribution Ceremony

• A Prize Distribution Ceremony was held at Cadet College Skardu to honour and appreciate the outstanding achievements of the cadets in academics and co-curricular competitions.
• During the ceremony, prizes were distributed amongst the cadets who secured the Top 3 Positions in the recent Promotion Examination of Class 8th:
3rd Position goes to Cadet Kamran
2nd Position goes to Cadet M. Najaf
1st Position goes to Cadet Saadat Hussain
• As well as the cadets who achieved distinctions and top positions at the Provincial and National Level in the ICAT Mathematics Contest 2025. Details as below:-

• The worthy Principal, Cadet College Skardu, Brig Javed Iqbal, congratulated and appreciated all the successful cadets for their hard work, dedication, and remarkable performance. • While addressing the cadets, the Principal highlighted that the College now possesses an updated library, a modern language lab, and a digital computer lab equipped with advanced facilities. He emphasized that all cadets should fully benefit from these valuable resources to enhance their academic abilities, knowledge, and skills. The Principal further stated that such ceremonies would continue to be organized in the future to recognize, encourage, and appreciate cadets who demonstrate extraordinary performance in academics, competitions, and other activities conducted within the College.
• The ceremony concluded with great enthusiasm and applause for the achievers, inspiring all cadets to strive for excellence in every field of life.

Day 3 - Routine of 26th Entry

• On 10 May 2026, the cadets of the new entry woke up early in the morning to offer Fajr prayers, followed by wearing of the College M***i Dress and morning dress inspection conducted by the House Appointments and House Master. Thereafter, the cadets proceeded to the Mess for breakfast.
• Subsequently, the cadets moved towards the Academic Block/ Hall of Studies, where they were distributed into sections namely 8th-A, 8th-B, and 8th-C. After the distribution, the cadets went to their designated classrooms where they attended lectures delivered by the distinguished faculty members of Cadet College Skardu.
• Later on, a formal interaction session was conducted by, Brig Javed Iqbal Principal Cadet College Skardu. During his address to the cadets of 8th Class, he highlighted the rigorous efforts undertaken during their selection process and briefed them regarding the training and learning process through which the cadets will pass in order to become responsible, disciplined, and successful citizens of Pakistan.
• After the formal interaction with the Principal, the cadets proceeded to the Mess for lunch, followed by the routine activities as laid down in their daily schedule.
• Cadet College Skardu has always upheld its tradition of grooming young cadets into capable students, disciplined individuals, and responsible citizens of Pakistan so that they may contribute positively towards the progress, prosperity, and development of the nation in the future.

Day 2 - Routine of 26th Entry

• On 09 May 2026, the cadets of the new entry woke up early in the morning to offer Fajr prayers, followed by Hostel Fall-In inside Hostel-3 in tracksuits. Thereafter, the cadets attended an orientation session regarding the college, followed by a comprehensive visit of the college premises, including the Squash Complex, Gymnasium, and College Cafeteria.
• Subsequently, the cadets proceeded to the Mess for tea break, followed by the issuance of uniform items. After the issuance of uniform items, the cadets went to the Mess for lunch. Upon completion of lunch, the cadets returned to their hostels to offer Zuhar prayers, followed by rest time in the hostel.
• After rest time, the cadets offered Asar prayers, followed by the issuance of uniform items to the remaining cadets. Thereafter, dinner was served to the cadets in the Mess. The day concluded with Night Fall-In, followed by lights out for rest.
• Cadet College Skardu has always upheld its proud tradition of grooming cadets into future leaders of Pakistan. The institution continues to nurture young minds with discipline, character, and leadership qualities, and remains committed to carrying forward this noble mission in the future as well.
