Vice Chancellor Sukkur IBA University Attends Inauguration of HBL Prestige Sukkur
Vice Chancellor Sukkur IBA University, Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh, attended the inauguration ceremony of Habib Bank Limited (HBL) Prestige in Sukkur as the Chief Guest.
The Vice Chancellor, accompanied by President & CEO HBL Mr. Muhammad Nassir Salim, formally inaugurated the newly opened HBL Prestige branch by cutting the ribbon.
On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh congratulated the HBL leadership and team on the launch of the new branch in Sukkur and extended his best wishes for its continued success. He appreciated HBL’s commitment to strengthening its premium banking services and expanding its presence in the region.

As part of the 79th Independence Day Celebrations under the theme "جشنِ آزادی: معرکۂ حق سے تعمیرِ پاکستان", Sukkur IBA University organized a series of Badminton Exhibition Matches on 7th August 2026 at the Badminton Court, Main Campus.

The event brought together students, faculty, and staff who registered and participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their talent, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit.

A total of three exhibition matches were played, featuring Doubles – Pro Category, Doubles – Beginners Category, and Singles – Beginners Category. Adding to the excitement, Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh, Vice Chancellor, Sukkur IBA University, also participated in a singles exhibition match, encouraging the University community to actively engage in sports and healthy activities.

The matches witnessed an energetic display of skill, determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship. At the conclusion of the doubles categories, shields were presented to the winning and runner-up teams in recognition of their performances.

The event provided an enjoyable platform for the University community to come together and celebrate the 79th Independence Day through sports, camaraderie, and a shared spirit of national pride.
